Lights on

Rose sleeps invisibly on one of the seats front left in [5]

SND-2101 - Creaky Door

Alice comes in from [1]

Haze comes in from [1]

Alice (whispering): "It's a chapel. Of course. This place **had** to have a chapel."

Alice picks up one candle from the deco candles in [3]

Alice walks around, checking out the room.

Alice: "Nothing. Not even an emergency exit. Smell anything interesting yet?"

Haze: "Only disinfectant and despair. I could swear I got a hint of Rose by the door, but in here the smell of burning incense is overwhelming. Patchou!"

Alice: "What if she's not here after all?"

Haze: "I never said she must be here. Just that she's probably close by."

Alice: "But how close is "close"? 10 meters or 10 light years? We're on borrowed time, Haze. My withdrawal is getting worse ..."

Haze: "Oh wait, can you hear that?"

Rose: "*SNOOOORE*"

Alice: "Yes! Quick, hide! They'll scream the house down if they see you!"

Haze: "Gotcha."

Audrey snaps and hisses at Haze

Haze growls and snaps back at Audrey

Audrey squeaks and hides in her pot for the rest of the scene

Haze ducks behind the altar

Alice walks behind one of the seats front left in [5]

Alice: "Holy jumping weasel critters on a hot cross bun, Haze!"

Alice puts down the candle in [5]

Reesa: ON

Haze (off): "What is it?"

Alice: "She's right here! You're amazing!"

Haze (off): "Told you so!"

Alice: "Psst ... hey Rose ... wake up ..."

Rose stands up groggily. She is wearing a pink bathrobe with a leash (bathrobe belt) tied around her waist.

Rose (afraid): "W ... what? Oh crap! I know I'm not supposed to leave my room after lights-out, but I had a really bad dream, so I came here to pray a little. Please don't tell on me ..."

Alice: "Rose! It's me, Alice"

Alice hugs Rose, and gives her a big kiss on the cheek

Alice: "It's been how long? Three years? Four?"

Rose: "Alice? How the hell did **you** end up here?"

Alice: "I tried to start a new life. Didn't work out."

MUS-2102 - Music Cue 02

Rose: "*sigh* Same here. I've had a bit of a rough time myself. Started drinking. It didn't end well."

Alice: "Damn. I wish I hadn't left you behind."

Rose: "You don't have to apologize. I know it was because of your dad, and not because of me. And now you're back! Our time here will be so much nicer together!"

Alice: "I'm not planning to stay. This place is a torture prison!"

Rose: "It gets better once you begin to understand."

Alice: "I understand perfectly what's going on here. First they break you, and then they turn you into one of them. Don't let that happen! Remember the good old times. Our final years in high school. The nights we spent secretly making out at the abandoned gas station!"

Rose: "That was in a different life. We had no idea what we were doing."

Alice: "No, Rose, those where the best times of our lives. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!"

Rose: "Our Lord and savior leads the way!"

MUS-2103 - Music Cue 03

Alice: "Do you really believe that, or is it just a line they taught you? Please, come with me! I finally joined a rock band, can you believe it? You always wanted to be in a band, too, remember? Come with me, we can go our own way!"

Rose: "I'm afraid I have to stay. But Dr. Isaiah is looking for a new gospel band for the Sunday service! Maybe you could bring your friends in for an audition!"

Alice: "Hell no! Rose ... this place is hurting your very soul!"

Rose: "But I've never felt better! My life finally has a purpose!"

Alice: "And what purpose is that? This place is a cult, and it preys on the desperate and the helpless! Your happiness is an illusion planted into your head! Don't listen to your head, listen to your heart!"

SND-2104 - Creaky Door

Eisfuchs: ON

Alice: "Shit! Whoever that is, don't tell them I'm here!"

Alice dives under one of the seats front left

Greg comes in from [1]

Greg (friendly): "Hey, Rose! Can't sleep either?"

Rose: "Yeah. I've been having those ... thoughts again. I came here to clear my mind."

Greg: "Did you see anybody else coming in here?"

Rose: "I don't know, Greg, I was just praying."

Greg: "The Lord sees everything you do, Rose. I'm missing a patient, and I'm pretty sure I heard you talking to someone."

Rose: "I was praying out loud?"

Greg: "Rose. What did we teach you about staying on the path of righteousness? She's here, isn't she?"

Rose: "I ... I don't ..."

Greg: "Where?"

Rose (timid): "Right there under the bench."

Alice: "GODDAMMIT!"

Alice jumps up

Alice tries to run

Greg leaps for Alice

Greg pins Alice down

SND-2105 - Headache

Alice: "*cough* *retch* *puke*"

Greg: "Stop fighting, that'll just make it worse! Your body needs rest!"

Alice: "Very soon I'll be nothing more than a convulsing heap of pain and misery. And you just sit there and watch me get worse, because seeing helpless people suffer apparently gives you a fucking boner!"

Greg: "That's not true!"

Alice: "Then pretend this is a real clinic and get me some meds, I'm dying!"

Greg: "That would be treating the symptom, not the cause!"

Alice: "Damn right, and I demand it, now!"

Greg: "Dr. Isaiah knows best which therapy is best for you."

Alice (in pain, through her teeth): "The FUCK he does!"

Alice struggles, and breathes heavily

Greg: "You're going back to your room now."

Greg takes out his little Greg's phone, and dials

Alice (out of breath): "Don't just stand there, Rose! **Do** something! Hrrrrng! Grrrr!"

Alice tries to get free, but she's too weak, Greg's got her pinned down good

SND-2106 - Beep Boop Beep Beep Boop

Alice fights harder

Greg: "It's Greg. I need two orderlies to get a patient back to her room."

Haze: "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Haze jumps out of hiding, and knocks Greg off Alice

SND-2107 - Haze Snarls

Greg's phone flies out of Greg's hand

Rose: "*SCREAM*"

Rose flees and hides in [7]

Haze grabs Greg by the throat, pushing him down

SND-2108 - Haze Growls

Greg: "*GURGLE*"

Alice gets up, and fetches the Greg's phone

Alice hangs up Greg's phone, and walks back to Greg

SND-2109 - Bloop (Hangup)

Alice (panting): "Okay, Greg. You're now going to do exactly what I say, or her teeth will be the last thing you'll ever see, got it?"

Greg nods frantically (as far as he can)

Alice: "Good!"

Haze keeps sitting on him, but takes her fangs off his throat

Greg: "*GASP*"

Alice (panting): "Here, tell your friends everything is under control."

Alice hands Greg Greg's phone

Alice: "And no funny stuff."

Greg hits redial

SND-2110 - Beep Boop Beep Beep Boop

Greg: "I'm good! Everything's under control. The patient is back to bed, and I do not need your help any more. Sorry for the ruckus!"

Greg (nervous): "Maybe later. Over a cup of coffee. Alright?"

Greg: "Absolutely. Have a good night!"

Greg hangs up

SND-2111 - Bloop (Hangup)

Alice takes Greg's phone away from Greg

Haze: "Good boy, Greg."

MUS-2107 - Music Cue 07

Greg: "IT CAN TALK? WHAT KIND OF HELL-SPAWN IS THAT!?"

Haze: "Shh! Don't be rude."

Greg (whispering): "You can talk? What kind of hell-spawn are you!?"

Haze (whispering back): "I am the fingernail that scrapes the blackboard of your soul!"

Greg (in fear): "God help me!"

Alice: "Rose? Come out, I need your help."

Rose (off): "No! There's a giant wolf out there!"

Alice is increasingly in pain

Haze: I'm not going to bite you, I promise! (Only greg here!) Come over here, your girlfriend needs help!"

Rose emerges from hiding

Alice: "I need the belt from your bathrobe. Quick!"

Rose: "O ... okay ..."

Rose gives Alice the leash

Alice ties up Greg, leaving a piece of the leash to use as a leash

Alice: "Alright, Haze. You can let him go now."

Haze growls, and walks backwards a few steps, releasing Greg

Alice: "Stand up, Greg."

Greg gets up, whimpering

Rose (stunned): "You're the most ... well spoken pet I've ever seen."

Haze: "I'm not a pet. My name is Haze."

Rose (stunned): "Nice to meet you, Haze."

Rose: "Can I ... touch you?"

Haze: "What is this world, a petting zoo or what?"

Alice: "Go ahead, she's so fluffy you're gonna die!"

Greg: "DON'T DO IT! SHE'S TRYING TO SEDUCE YOU!"

Haze: "Greg, these nice ladies have fucked more often than you've said the Lord's prayer. If Alice was trying to seduce Rose, she'd know."

Rose walks up close to Haze

Haze lowers her head

Rose touches Haze's nose

Rose: "Boop!"

Haze **wags her tail** and sneezes.

Haze: "Hachoo!"

Rose: "You seem so familiar."

Haze: "Because that's what I am! I mean, a familiar. Alice's familiar. Get it? Just a little supernatural joke for us all to enjoy."

MUS-2110 - Music Cue 10

Rose: "You two seem to have a lot in common."

Alice, Haze: "That's putting it mildly."

Rose: "I ... I wish I could come with you."

Haze: "What's holding you back?"

Rose: "In here, The Lord and His guardian angels are watching over me. How am I going to stay on the path of righteousness without His guidance? How am I going to resist all the temptations? What if I start drinking again?"

Haze: "There is only one who's watching over you, and her name is Rona. She is a wolf like me. She belongs to you in the same way I belong to Alice. For the longest time, Rona and I were like yin and yang, just like you and Alice. We were like peanut butter and jelly, like ice cream and sprinkles. Like macaroni and cheese, like ..."

Rose: "*a-hem*"

Haze: "Well, like the best friends ever. But then a mighty force of evil pushed us apart, and I had to helplessly watch Rona getting tormented by powerful demons, bleeding from wounds she could not mend and hear her cries of pain. Every night, for many months. Please come with us, Rose. End the suffering!"

Rose suddenly begins to cry softly

Rose: "Please just go. Okay?"

Alice: "No! Not okay! Absolutely not okay! They've brainwashed you, don't you understand?"

Alice coughs and retches

Alice: "Damn. The cramps are getting worse."

Rose: "THEN GO!"

Alice: "FUCK!"

Alice types in her number

SND-2112 - Beep Boop Baap Boop Beep

Alice: "Here, take Greg's phone. Hide it well. If you're in trouble, or even if you just need to talk ... please call this number, alright?"

Alice gives Rose Greg's phone

Rose (sobbing): "Okay."

Alice: "I'll be back!"

Alice kisses Rose. Then she turns to Greg.

Alice: "Okay Greg, now take me to the drugs!"

Greg: "All we have are substitutes! They're not gonna get you high!"

Alice: "But will they make the pain stop?"

Greg: "Yes."

Alice: "Then Drugs-Town, here we come! Gogogogo!"
